LO1: Task 3: Know how to use camera equipment to record cinematic quality footage
Frame Rate Notes:
- different frame rates for different effects
- FPS - frames per second
- the higher the FPS the smoother the content looks
- 24, 30, 60 FPS
- normally use the higher for more movement content
Each Video for LO1:
- Video 1 - shows you can use camera equipment (P1) and manipulate the manual settings (P2) - aperture, depth of field, shutter speed, frame rate, ISO. You can annotate diagrams or annotate video. You must show why different frame rates are used.
- Video 2 - show you can use camera equipment and attach these to a range of camera mounts (P1). You must show what different mounts are used for when creating cinematic quality footage (P2).
- Video 3 - show you can use camera equipment with sound equipment (P1). You must show why/how different sound equipment and attachments are used when creating cinematic quality footage (P2).
This will become one video for LO1 to show your understanding of P1 and P2. YES you can work in groups... You MUST have your own EDIT
